Types of Collagen Casings

Fresh Collagen

Ideal collagen for all your fresh sausage needs. We stock sizes from 19mm to 32mm. (fresh collagen is not intended to be used in the smokehouse, but, with proper cook cycles, they can be used in the smokehouse with excellent results).

Curved CollagenFresh collagen is also available Curved (24mm, 28mm, 32mm) - giving your product the look of natural casings.

Beef Stick

We carry many sizes of beef stick collagen, our stock sizes include 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, and 23mm.

Beef stick collagen gives your product the most consistent size and color available.

Processed Collagen

Processed collagen in ideal for precooked and smoked products. Processed collagen holds up in the smokehouse while providing the most uniform product available.

Curved Ring Collagen
Precurved ring collagen is a great substitute for natural beef rounds. Allows you to get consistent sizes and weights for all you ring sausages. It also eliminates the fat ring common to beef rounds.

Cellulose (skinless) Casings

​Use these casings to make all you skinless products.

Stuff and smoke your sausage as you would with any other casing, then slit the casing and watch your skinless sausage fall out.

Works best with automatic peelers.
